The promotion list just came out yesterday and I was really really looking forward to being promoted. I think I have been handling multiple portfolio and been getting along with everyone very well and even the bosses. I just don’t understand why I was passed for promotion to a senior role. I’m back here sitting in my room, under the air con and typing this message. This is on the MX keyboard which I brought back from work. The MX mechanical is really quite something. I feel like I like typing emails because of that keyboard. This MX mini is no slouch either. Meh. I know. I can’t decide. I think today is a super super good Friday for me. Woke up and had breakfast at Sheng Siong and everything is fine and dandy. It is such a refreshing change from a hectic work day yesterday, as there was a power disruption at Station. The funny thing was they did send out a notice saying that there was some power upgrades that were happening, but I didn’t think it was too serious because the week before, they did the same thing and the UPS survived all the equipments. I’m continuing to post my thoughts for today. I think I finally found the ideal location to post my thoughts and more importantly to store them. I don’t need anything fancy. Who would have thought all I needed was just the terminal and a place to host static sites. I’m sitting here in the hall, albeit air-con now, and comfortable and I’m typing this. It seems like these days everything is going quite well and I’m certainly not complaining. Perhaps it’s the process of getting the house finally, or maybe the house renovations are in process. I did think that the house looks way better now, with the envisioned home automation working and the furnitures are coming in together, it certainly feels and looks more comfortable, I just have to maintain it this way, for everyone’s sake.
