I think today is a super super good Friday for me. Woke up and had breakfast at Sheng Siong and everything is fine and dandy. It is such a refreshing change from a hectic work day yesterday, as there was a power disruption at Station.
The funny thing was they did send out a notice saying that there was some power upgrades that were happening, but I didn’t think it was too serious because the week before, they did the same thing and the UPS survived all the equipments. But this time the servers just died. Almost everything was rebooted - the storage, the switches, the host servers, everything. It was such a panic getting everything to work again.
Well, it did taught me a lesson to pay more attention to the UPS maintenance, the routine ones that are checked by audits. Well, next week let’s tkae a closer look at the whole damn thing again.
Anyway, back to today. Went to the home team ns to practice on my bowling. Wow. the Mythic Jackal really really likes the lanes. So I guess it is really an equipment problem. The oiling was much shorter and there was a clean backend. The Mythic really really shined. Skid and flip. Skid and flip. Much better reaction then the lanes beside me. So it is maybe not a technique problem? Although I am not saying that the technique is spot on yet, I still missed some of the timing and I missed the rotation at the bottom. Sometimes i can get it, sometimes I can’t. Well, more practice then.
He has found a new job at the restaurant downstairs. Doing floor. I hope it suits him better then the kitchen, probably because the responsibilities are lesser and the stress is lesser and it is not so hot! The kitchen position is really not sustainable. Considering the stress on the body and the medications that needed to be taken to relief the pain. Bad.
This week was pretty fast I think. And you see, now I have the time to do things and to learn and complete my dyanmodb course, udemy is down. argh.
I need to shift my notes over to the learning portal so that it can be backed up to git.

So back to bowling, you know after the first league, it got me thinking why the ball is not responding correctly although I think I am really throwing it nicely. It could be due to the equipment. I am really convinced of it. If I had a ball which is stronger and reads earlier to roll, I think I can do an average of 200, just like darren and the rest. Does that mean that the zen is stronger then my mythic? Does that mean that the pride is stronger my mythic? I think that is really the case.
I am just torn between the pride empire, or the infinite physix. Both seems pretty good. I just need it for longer patterns with a little carrydown. This is typical of the csc lanes that I always play on. I keep getting hand into the ball and it just doesn’t hook when I need it to.
Tomorrow is my hair cut day and I have a really big pimple on the left temple. Sad. It hurts. and I don’t know how to do with it.
Should I go on Sunday for another practice? Maybe at the hometeam again this time, since he works 12pm to 5pm. Myabe I should. Then at least I don’t waste my training with coach.
